Belf joins in Chapter&nbsp;13 or around the midgame of ''New Mystery of the Emblem'', with solid growths for the standard of New Mystery and decent bases for an unpromoted unit. While Belf is by no means bad for his join time, he will feel a bit underwhelming on the higher difficulty settings without an early [[promotion]].
