'''Katsuyoshi Koya''' (Japanese: {{hl|小屋勝義|Koya katsuyoshi}} ''Koya Katsuyoshi'') provided the vast majority of the card illustrations for the {{TCG}}, with their work covering the entire casts of {{FE3}}, {{title|Genealogy of the Holy War}} and {{title|Thracia 776}}, and is also credited as a graphic designer for ''Mystery'' and ''Genealogy'', and the concept art for ''Genealogy of the Holy War'' was drawn by Koya, and would be used as the basis for the in-game character portraits. Although they were not responsible for the original character artwork used in the box art and manual of any of these games, their work had effectively replaced those for ''Mystery'' and ''Genealogy'' and was the most widely used to represent characters from these two games until the late 2010s, including being used in {{FE13}} for the [[bonus unit]] portraits for the cast of ''Genealogy''. Their artwork was also used as the basis for the [[Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War Exceed|''Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War'' Exceed]] figurine series, and for the designs of the ''Mystery'' and ''Genealogy'' cast in {{TCGCipher}}. In 2008, they also contributed two "bonus artworks" of [[Lena]] and [[Barst]] for {{FE11}}.
