As if the traits mentioned above were not enough, Galzus also has a massive five action stars. This translates to a 25% chance to move again when he completes a turn. The effect is unreliable, but Galzus has a better chance of activating it than most units. If he activates it, he can move fourteen spaces in a single turn, kill two enemies on player phase, and more. Since Galzus is so good at combat, there is no reason not to use him when he is available.

Though he is especially good at dealing with most enemies during the time is recruited, Galzus is not the greatest choice when dealing with the final boss, Veld, due to his 80 hp and 25 defense. Ced instead will be able to one round him with a pure water and Forseti, meaning there are some cases where Ced may be needed for optimal combat strategies, instead of Saias, because Galzus is incapable of doing certain things due to the Forseti being a more reliable way of killing Veld than anything Galzus can use.
