File talk:Portrait novala recolor unused fe08.png

From Fire Emblem Wiki, your source on Fire Emblem information. By fans, for fans.

Isn't there a Novala recolor used in a flashback with Knoll, or maybe Novala's regular portrait was used? Emperor Hardin (talk) 07:06, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

I used FEditor to search all entries of text (used and unused) in the game for this portrait being loaded, this portrait (6E) is not loaded in any text scene in the game. Also, if this appeared in a flashback it would be a sepia recolor anyway...? Unless there is a full color flashback that I am forgetting, feel free to direct me to the scene, because if I messed up searching for it I should know so I can fix whatever error I made. (though I did just re-search for it) L95 (talk) 15:16, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

I checked some of Knoll's flashback, and didn't see a Novala reclor either. Maybe I Imagined it because Novala is a royal mage too? Also do you think you'll upload the unused Bandit character in FE8? Emperor Hardin (talk) 00:05, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

This one? Portrait bandit unused fe08.png He actually has a unit slot, though it doesn't even have an assigned affinity or base stats. He's actually right after this dude. Small portrait bandit 01 fe08.png and before O'Neill Which I think is kinda interesting. L95 (talk) 02:11, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

Yeah that one. Unlike the portraited Bandit in the main game, the unused bandit has no affinity. Speaking of O'neill, his portrait recolors are actually used for a mercenary, and a guard in the game. I'm going to say Novala's recolored portrait would've been for a generic. Back to O'neil, he has a unused and unique black color scheme in battle animations.
