In turn, the revolutionaries, who persecuted the church under Bern's orders, are put on the back foot and forced to retreat to the castle. Bern's forces inside the castle are under the leadership of General [[Narcian]]. The Head Wyvern General [[Murdock]] visits Narcian and expresses disappointment in Narcian's failure to hold the [[Western Isles]] and to capture [[Arcadia]]. He also threatens to demote Narcian from his post as Wyvern General and to replace him with [[Galle]]. Once Murdock leaves, Narcian hatches the plan to blame [[Melady]]'s brother [[Zeiss]] for his own failure, with the excuse that Zeiss leaked information to Roy's forces after Melady joined them. | |||
