The '''Lightning Sword''' (Japanese: {{hover|いかづちの剣|Ikazuchi no ken}} ''Thunder Sword''), sometimes known as the '''Levin Sword''' (Japanese: {{hover|サンダーソード|Sandāsōdo}} ''Thunder Sword''), is a recurring [[magic sword]] introduced in {{FE1}}, and the first of its kind in the {{FES}}. In all appearances, it is capable of attacking both at close range and over a distance, using [[Thunder (magic)|thunder magic]] to do so. Since {{title|Genealogy of the Holy War}} it deals [[Magic (element)|magical damage]] to foes that targets their [[resistance]] stat instead of their [[defense]], and uses the wielder's [[Magic (stat)|magic stat]] instead of their [[strength]] to calculate damage (with the exception of {{title|Echoes: Shadows of Valentia}}, where there is no separate magic stat). Depending on the individual game, it may have other effects.
