In ''Echoes: Shadows of Valentia'', your main objective for these first couple of maps is to bring Tobin, Kliff, and Faye to level 3 so they can promote at the Thieves' Shrine. On turn 1, have Alm immediately attack the closest Brigand. Move Tobin and Kliff as far right as possible, move Gray and Faye three spaces right and one space up, and move Lukas into the forest to Kliff's right. The Brigands will return fire on their turn and attack Alm, Faye, and Kliff. On turn 2, move Alm right one to wound another Brigand and move Tobin right two to finish him off. Move Lukas down two and left one to wound Kliff's Brigand, and move Kliff left one and down one to finish him. Move Gray up two to wound Faye's Brigand and have Faye finish him off. These positions should prevent the enemy from attacking you from the forests. On the enemy phase, the last unwounded Brigand will attack Faye again. Have Tobin kill the bottom Brigand, have Alm kill the top wounded Brigand, and have Gray wound and Faye finish the last Brigand.
