Dalsin was stationed as the captain of the Munster dungeon guard during [[Leif]] and [[Lifis]]'s time in captivity there, and was entrusted with ensuring Leif's continued captivity until people from [[Connacht]] came to collect him. When the [[Magi]] led a raid on the dungeon and freed Leif, Dalsin initially commanded the guard in opposing them and demanded they return to their cells, but had a change of heart upon learning of Jubel's capture in the child hunts and chose to defect and ally with Leif, assisting in his escape. | |||
