Seeds of Unrest/Script
Nil and Nel bring Alear to the parallel world's Firene. Nel informs them of their goal: to obtain the Bracelet of the Brash General. Nil and Nel tell Alear how the Firenese in this world are violent and war-seeking, and that its Queen Ève died in the previous war, with her son Alfred taking the throne in her place. Soon, a woman named Zelestia arrives to reunite with Nel and Nil, but when she begins to praise Alear, the two inform her that this Alear is from a different world. Zelestia then recounts her role in this world's Alear's burial. After her short grief, she introduces herself to Alear, who is put off by her mention of someone like her living in their world. She then relays news to Nel and Nil that Céline intends to invade Brodia, that she has been raising an army in preparation, and lastly that Firene's Emblem has changed somehow. The group then hastens to Firene Castle.
Inside the castle, Céline and Alfred argue over whether or not to invade Brodia to secure the resources to sustain their own country. Alfred is reluctant to face Brodia's military, but Céline manipulates him into accepting by threatening to attack them on her own. Before Alfred can give notice to his knights, Nel and Nil arrive to begin negotiations for their Emblem Bracelet. Tensions between the two groups rise, and Alfred suspects the two of ulterior motives. Alear then enters the conversation, but Céline accuses them of being a Corrupted raised by Nel and Nil. Alfred is infuriated by this, and orders his knights to attack Alear's army.
Alear's army defeats Alfred and Céline, and reclaims their bracelet, which contains a tainted Emblem Hector. Before Nel puts him back to slumber, Hector thanks her and wishes to fight alongside Alear someday. Alear then demands Alfred and Céline to cease their invasion, and they agree. The two apologize to them, as well as to Nel and Nil for previously tying them to Sombron. They then offer theirs and Firene's army to aid Alear, but Nel and Nil refuse their aid, urging them to keep themselves safe. Céline then suggests keeping the Emblem Bracelet in Firene for safety reasons, though Nel reasons against this as well. Alfred and Céline wish Alear's group good luck, and the two depart.
Outside the castle, Alear chastises Nel for her harsh words, and the two argue briefly. After they defuse the tension between themselves, Alear muses that they might need to fight against twins, although Nel responds that most Fell Dragon children lose their twin siblings as they age. The group then makes their way to Brodia.
Sometime in the past, a young Nel and Nil discuss the other Fell Dragon twins killing each other, and Nil believes he will likely be next to die. Nel attempts to console him, and pledges to protect him no matter what.
