The Flux (Japanese: ミィル Mir) tome is a relatively common dark spell in the Fire Emblem series. It consists on invoking dark energy, which then engulfs the enemy. In the games where it has appeared, it is the most basic spell for users of dark magic, such as Shamans and Dark Mage.
The flux tome is available in The Binding Blade, The Blazing Blade, The Sacred Stones, Awakening, and Heroes.

Trivia
- Flux is the first dark magic tome to bear both the D and E weapon levels (in The Binding Blade and Awakening respectively). By extension, Flux is the only dark magic tome in the series to have never had a weapon level of C or higher.
- Internal data in the Game Boy Advance games refers to Flux as "Mistyrain", this is possibly an early name of the spell.[1]
