The (Japanese: バトラー Butler) is an advanced class debuting in Fire Emblem Fates. It is exclusive to male units, with the female equivalent being Maid. Units may promote to this class from the Rod Knight class; Rod Knights may alternatively promote to Strategist. Butlers may wield staves and kunai, the latter being a new weapon type introduced in Fates.
