Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
|
Using the warp staff to conveniently complete the map is recommended considering the high concentration of forest tiles. However, it is also important to note that this chapter has the only Vantage M in the entire game, which may work well on a unit such as Olwen, as well as a vendor that sells Wind tomes, the next such vendor appearing in Chapter 21.
If you wish to complete the map without the warp staff, keep in mind that you will need a Bridge Key (one of the brigands here has one), and the chapter must be completed within 20 turns to reach the following sidequest. The brigands here are capable of stealing, but they are basic low quality enemies with iron axes and merely serve as an extra speedbump. Recruiting Salem isn't required for the sidequest, but if you wish to build up his C-rank staves, feel free to capture him.
