As it is not playable in either appearance, the Bow Armor does not appear to be tied to a [[class change]] line, though judging by its counterparts, it would likely promote to [[General]] if playable.

The Bow Armor (Japanese: ボウアーマー Bow Armor) is a basic armored class debuting in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. It is one of four weapon-specific variations of the Knight, specialising in the use of bows, and appears only in Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776; it is the only armor variant to not reappear in Radiant Dawn and Engage. It is statistically identical to its counterparts, the Lance Armor, Axe Armor, and Sword Armor.
