Counterattack (Japanese: 応撃 Response attack) is an ability which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. As its name suggests, the ability allows units to counter-attack foes, even if the user's range would not normally allow them to do so.
While the ability cannot be learned normally by playable units, it can be bestowed on units temporarily by use of the Retribution gambit.
