Dragon Rider (ドラゴンライダー, Doragon Raidaa) is a name for an enemy-only dragon-riding class that only appears in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. It is very similar to the playable class called Dragon Knight (ドラゴンナイト, Doragon Naito) in the same game. In the sequel, Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, the playable dragon class became Dragon Rider. However, this page is only for the enemy Dragon Rider class of Seisen no Keifu; the basic dragon class's data can be found at the Wyvern Rider page.

Dragon riders are a quite formidable enemy. Their HP, strength, and defense are high, and their high movement lets them move around easily. However, they have rather average skill and speed, which can lead to them rarely hitting playable units. Also, since they are flying units, bows are very effective against them, and their extremely low resistance means that magic attacks will easily defeat them.

Since dragon riders are an enemy-only class, they have no official promotion data.
