Blizzard (ブリザー, Blizza in the Archanea games, and ブリザード, Blizzard in all other appearances) is a wind-based tome that has two distinct iterations. The first iteration appears in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, Mystery of the Emblem and their DS remakes. In this appearance, blizzard is a normal-ranged tome that deals effective damage against Fire Dragons (in Mystery of the Emblem only). The second iteration made its first appearance in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, as a long-range tome, the wind counterpart to Bolting and Meteor. As with all other wind magic in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, it deals effective damage against flying units.
