The Beorcguard is an item debuting in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, an equippable accessory item making its only proper appearance in that game. Equippable only by laguz units, when the bearer has the Beorcguard equipped, any effective damage done by any anti-laguz weapon is nullified. Due to misleading help text, which mistakenly implies the Beorcguard to be an exact opposite of the Laguzguard, it is commonly assumed that the Beorcguard is completely useless as an accessory and only functions to provide gold when sold.
Radiant Dawn features an unused skill scroll version of the Beorcguard.
