Vanguard Ike, the general of the goddess Yune's army. Hope rides on his blade. He wields the skill Aether.

Vanguard (神将, Shinshou, or is one of several classes that can be found in the Fire Emblem series. It is Ike's exclusive third tier in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It allows him to wield swords (including Ragnell) and also axes (such as Urvan). The exclusive skill for the class is Aether (if Ike has 20 capacity points left after receiving Aether, he will gain Nihil, however).
