Scorched Sand is the fifteenth chapter in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is located in the Kingdom of Jehanna, home of Joshua the prince of Jehanna (if the player is playing through Eirika's route, otherwise this information isn't revealed). Caellach and Valter the two bosses in this level, had orchestrated a plan to shatter Jehanna's Sacred Stone and once they did they let loose fire to Jehanna Hall, making the castle fall into ruin. Depending on which of the Renais twins paths the player took, either Ephraim will arrive with Knoll and Duessel on the bottom left of the map or Eirika will arrive with Innes and Saleh from Jehanna Hall.

If Joshua talks to Caellach a special text will be shown between them that will be altered differently depending on which twin you choose.

Strategy

This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.

The one the best and preferred courses of action is to move Ephriam's Units and Eirika's more toward Caellech. Despite him having the Hoplon Guard, Caellach is still susceptible to attacks so it's best to attack him with more than one unit.
