Move to "Wolf (Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light)"

Support, I do think Wolf (Shadow Dragon) would be fine too (because it's shorter, but either or is fine) L95 (talk) 18:12, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

Support If the other characters' pages are Wolf (Gaiden) and Wolf (Thracia 776), I think it stands to reason that this one would be Wolf (Shadow Dragon), or something of the like. BrandedOne (talk) 02:14, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
I'd also agree with moving it to the shorter title (Shadow Dragon), personally. It's more recent, so it's more relevant, and closer to what people are likely to search for. --Moydow (Support) 02:31, 22 March 2017 (UTC)

Move to "Wolf"

I think this page should be moved to just "Wolf", with no parenthetical in the title. I think this character is more significant than the Thracia boss and the Tellius class, that most people searching for "wolf" are looking for this character.

If it is not moved to "Wolf", I think the parenthetical should instead be "(Shadow Dragon character)"; "Shadow Dragon" to distinguish from the Thracia character and "character" to distinguish from the laguz, in a similar fashion as the "Fire Emblem" chapters from Shadow Dragon and The Binding Blade include the subtitle and "chapter" to distinguish them from other concepts. — Thecornerman (talk) 05:35, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

There is no other Wolf in Shadow Dragon so I think Shadow Dragon character is superfluous. PikaSamus (talk) 23:54, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
Appending "character" isn't meant to distinguish him from other things in Shadow Dragon, but more clearly from both Wolf (Thracia 776) and wolf (laguz); against one, "(Shadow Dragon)" or "(character)" disambiguates fine, but I think against both, there can be confusion in a reader less familiar with the relevant areas of the series. It also harmonizes with how the "Fire Emblem" chapters disambiguate against multiple concepts.— Thecornerman (talk) 22:51, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
I had thought that the Fire Emblem chapters were moved because there are Fire Emblem objects in those games. PikaSamus (talk) 00:06, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
My original proposal on the Discord for the chapter moves states "to differentiate them as chapters from 'Fire Emblem (item)'". — Thecornerman (talk) 00:23, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
