Talk:Dark Breath

From Fire Emblem Wiki, your source on Fire Emblem information. By fans, for fans.

Think we should split the Archanea versions and Garon versions. Also based off the current translations we're using, Dark Breath should be Shadow Breath. Emperor Hardin (talk) 22:09, 2 May 2017 (UTC)

Heroes localizes the FE3/6/12 name as Dark Breath. PikaSamus (talk) 22:19, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Is it the same spelling in Japanese? Emperor Hardin (talk) 22:26, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
闇のブレス is the name used in 3, 6, 12, and Heroes; it got localised as "Dark Breath" in Heroes, and is the only official English source we have for it, so it's staying at Dark Breath. We don't use fan translation names for article titles. I'm indifferent about splitting off Garon's Dark Breath; it has a different Japanese name, but the same English name (and we're an English-language site); I forget if it actually has a breath attack or is like Idoun's in that he can attack with other body parts despite the attack being called "dark breath", but eh. --Moydow (Support) 22:30, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Garon's Dark breath is a breath attack at long range and a melee attack at melee range.L95 (talk) 22:33, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Checking it Corrin's version in Heroes does indeed have the "halve attack power of foes" effect. Emperor Hardin (talk) 22:49, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
