Seal Defense (Japanese: 守備封じ Seal Defense), shortened to Seal Def in Heroes, is a combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Spear Fighter class; in Three Houses, it is the class mastery skill associated with the Wyvern Rider class; in Heroes, it is a four-tiered type B passive skill (whose individiual tiers are Seal Def 1, Seal Def 2, Seal Def 3, and Seal Def 4 in order from lowest to highest). In all games, it serves to reduce an enemy's defense.
