Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga

Introduction

Narration: In the northeast of the continent is the prairie Country of Aurelis. Since its founding, this large northern country has had the deepest ties to the St. Archanea Palace. However, the rich, green kingdom was exposed to an intense attack by the Macedonian dragon knight army, led by the Princess Minerva, and already most of the land was lost. The Macedonian forces, led by the renowned Princess Minerva and the Pegasus sisters, would soon fly back to their faraway homeland after fulfilling their duties..
Daughter: Gaa! Stop it!
Deserter: Mweheheheheh. Come here to me!
Youth: Please! Please stop now, that's my lover!
Deserter: Go to hell! (sound of a sword slash)
Youth: Oh go-waah!
Narration: Before Minerva's eyes was the sight of soldiers attacking villagers. When she saw this, she quickly flew to the ground and unmounted from her dragon.
(Sound of a dragon's cry)
Youth: The Macedonian army is here!
Minerva: Hang in there, what on earth is happening? What are these soldiers doing?
Youth: W, what..? Are you not one of them? I beg you! They're killing us! That man was just one of the many murderers and abductors in this village of thieves. We only wanted to live and let live. I'm done for, but save the village. Please!
Minerva: Such shamelessness from the Macedonian army... what on earth...
Narration: Minerva, as the head of the Macedonian army, respected peacemaking. It pained her to hear this story about violence being directed at the villagers, coming from deserters of the soldiers in Macedonia. Afterward, she saw some figures nearby...
Deserter: What do you want? Stay back or die!
Hardin: For what you've done.. Do not forget it.
Deserter: Grr! You ass!
(Sound of a sword slash)
Deserter:Ouwahh! Such strength! Shoot! I'll remember this!
(Illustration of Minerva in red armor. Hardin is dismounted behind his horse.)
Minerva: For a stranger, you sure got a good arm. What is your name?
Hardin: I'd rather not introduce myself now.
Minerva: Is that so... I see. I may wear their armor, but I'm just as mad at what these soldiers are doing as you are.
Hardin: So you're... Lord Minerva of Macedon?
Minerva: Precisely. Why do you know my name?
Hardin: I've heard of you; a beautiful woman from Macedon who wears such crimson armor. You have had bestowed upon you the title of "the Red Dragon Knight".
Minerva: Uh... those rumors don't seem so reliable now.
Hardin: By the way, those fellows don't seem to be normal servicemen. Is there a desertion?
Minerva: ... That's.. a shameful tale.
Hardin: I see. Let's hurry then.
Minerva: Stranger, where are we going now?
Hardin: Towards the fort beyond here. I've heard people like that man I let run have set up the fort as a base to protect themselves from the villagers. They also keep the kidnapped women in there. He won't be alone there.
Minerva: What? There's that many of them?
Hardin: Such is what I hear.
Minerva: This is madness! ... such things...
Hardin: So, why don't we hurry then? Haa! (Hardin drives off with his horse)
Minerva: Aa, wait! Why, so hasty...
(Illustration: Minerva on her dragon at front. The Pegasus Knight Palla behind)
Minerva: Palla, I will take Catria and Est with me to follow him. You must go back to reinforce our base.
Palla: Got it. Don't stray too far from the base. Don't overexert yourselves, and return as soon as possible. Catria, Est, please ensure Minerva's safety.
(Horse's neigh and fluttering of pegasus)
Minerva: Catria, Est, after that man!
Catria, Est: Yes!
Narration: Thus, Minerva, Catria, and Est, along with the mystery man, went towards the fort. Meanwhile, inside the fort, the Dragon Knight Ruben and Frost, a Macedonian Priest, were clashing heads.
Ruben: Priest Frost. Change your mind yet?
Frost: I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. We should not be antagonizing Macedon.
Ruben: What's that? You still say such things? If you don't obey me, you will die, and so will your family and friends! You prefer that?
Frost: Ohh... ugh... I'm really in for it now....
Minerva: Catria, Est, there are archers nearby. Watch out for their bow attacks. If we need to fight them, you two should dismount from your Pegasus horses.
Hardin: Lord Minerva. I have two Social Knights in my army. They can take a lot more arrow shots. The Archers should be ours to defeat. Moreover, your troops should take cover behind my Horseman.
Minerva: Ah, sorry. Your request is more suitable. So then, I shall go.

During Battle

Narration: I shall explain the rules now. When Minerva or Hardin's HP is zero, the game is over. Any of your units can visit villages, but if an enemy thief attacks it, the village will be destroyed and won't be able to be visited. Visiting the village scores you 500 points. Killing Ruben gives you 1000 points, as does attacking his fort. You can heal by keeping your unit at the fort. Also, L+R+START+SELECT allows you restart from the beginning of the turn.

Starts 19 minutes in

Minerva: Take this! (sound of swords clashing)
Deserter: Iaaa!
(sound of horses racing)
Hardin: Lord Minerva, are you alright?
Minerva: No, you don't need to worry about it. The wound's not serious. Stranger, how about you?
Hardin: Yeah? I got a few scratches myself, but a vulnerary would ease any worry about that.
Minerva: Then, let's send someone in the village, and have them obtain a vulnerary.
Hardin: I welcome that. Let's ask.

Starts 25 minutes in

Deserter: Lord Ruben! I've spotted a Dragon Knight, 2 Pegasus Knights, 2 Social Knights and a Horseman headed our way!
Ruben: What? Knights and dragons together? What kind of party like that would head here? However, we're powerful forces. There's no need for worry. We'll strike back when they approach our fort.

Starts 30 minutes in

Frost: Ah, that must be Princess Minerva! I would like to talk to her about my situation, she should understand. I shall force myself into Minerva's party.
(Frost becomes playable.)

Starts 34 minutes in

Ruben: Hey you, aren't you fighting?
Deserter: The Dragon Knight is approaching the fort from above!
Ruben: Crap... She needs to be put in her place. Send out more reinforcements, and retreat the soldiers near our villages.
Deserter: Right!
(Reinforcements come from the forest and approach the fort.)

Starts in 40 minutes

Ruben: Oh, what a shocker! Princess Minerva, you dare a direct attack on my army?
Minerva: You bastard...! Is that really you, Ruben? Assaulting the villagers was reckless, and you ought to be court-martialed and convicted for that! However, seeing you here.. you're the BOSS of these deserters? You scum should surrender humbly, or face the wrath of Macedon!
Ruben: Ha...! Go back to the nuthouse where you belong. Macedon, Macedon! For always going around like that, I praise our god as I recite this; that your "noble" brother the prince has killed his own father, that you, the "older sister" are nothing more than a blockhead with sex appeal, and that your "younger sister" is being held hostage to keep you as nothing more than a pawn! My soldiers shall not listen to your silly commands. Eh, Minerva the bigot?
Minerva: You ass, don't taunt me! You can't change my thinking.
Ruben: Heh... now I shall strike back!
(The battle continues)
Minerva: Catria, Est. You take care of the other enemies while I fight Ruben. Do not play with them. Kill them in one blow!
Catria, Est: Got it!

Starts 50 minutes in

(Sound of horses come running up)
Hardin: Lord Minerva, I have this vulnerary. Take it.
Minerva: Thank you, but I've beaten Ruben. There's no need for any more interference.
Hardin: Lord Minerva. You shouldn't fight alone like that. I know how excessive battle can have you fall prey to a horseman. You could just drop right here.
Minerva: Hmph... then I'll take it for now. Let's fall back. Don't be reckless yourself, Stranger.
Hardin: Don't worry. The gardens around here are like the ones I had at home... hiyaaa! (Horses race away)

Ending (Starts 55 minutes in)

(Illustration of Pegasus Knights: Palla, Est, and Dragon Knight Minerva. The Pegasus in the sky, Minerva and the dragon below)
Palla: Lord Minerva? Lord Minerva! Are you safe?
Minerva: Palla. Don't worry. Are the reinforcements dealt with?
Palla: Yes. We're done with them already.
Minerva: That's great.
Macedonian Army: Lord Minerva, let us handle this. Those who sour Macedon's name will be punished. Lord Minerva, wasn't that knight Hardin, from Aurelis who passed by? He's from the "Coyote's Men", they could be connected to the rebel army. We should investigate them.
Minerva: Don't be stupid. Hardin would not be one of them.
Macedonian Army: B-But I'm certain...!
Minerva: You will not disregard my word. Stay away from him!
Macedonian Army: Ah, I apologize for my rudeness!
(Illustration of Hardin watching a dragon over his head)
Hardin: Ah, Lord Minerva. The rumors were true! The Red Dragon Knight was a great, honorable and beautiful commander! Hahahahah! I've always wished to see that on the battlefield! Hii-yahh!
(Horse gallops away)
Narration: Having left his mark and given his respects to Minerva, the man left for the other side of the prairie.
Minerva: Hardin, of the Coyote's Men...
Palla: Lord Minerva, is something on your mind?
Minerva: ... No, it's nothing. Let us hurry.
Palla: Yes!
Narration: This is Minerva, the princess of Macedon who people call the "Red Dragon Knight".

Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem

Introduction

Aurelis: a nation situated in the north-eastern plains of the continent. A verdant kingdom, sharing the deepest bonds with the Holy Kingdom of Archanea since its foundation. However, as a result of the aggressive attack of the Macedonian dracoknights led by Princess Minerva, Aurelis had already ceded most of its territory to the Dolhrian empire. As Princess Minerva returned to her post in Aurelis with her subordinates, a certain village caught her eye...

Opening

Villager: No! Get away from me...!
Bandit: Heh heh heh... Jus' come o'er 'ere already.
Villager: Please, I beg o' you, leave her be! She's me girlfriend!
Bandit: Shut yer trap!
Villager: Nngaaah!
(Fade to black. Minerva appears.)
Villager: Aiyee! The Macedonian army is here as well?
Minerva: Wait, what's going on here? What are those men doing?
Villager: Ehh? You ain't on their side? In that case, I beg o' you! Please drive those foul demons away. They kidnap women, loot everythin', and act like this town's theirs... We just can't keep livin' like this. So, please, you have to help us!
Minerva: To think the Macedonian army houses such shameless scoundrels... I demand an explanation.
Palla: I've heard rumors that deserters from our army are in cahoots with the local bandits... And they've been committing atrocities using the Macedonian army's name...
Catria: I wonder if those men are the ones you're describing?
Minerva: Either way, we cannot just let them be.
Est: Oh, Commander! Please look over there!
Fade to black. Hardin appears.
Bandit: W-what the hell is wrong with you!? Stay outta our way if you value yer life!
Hardin: Your vile deeds... cannot be overlooked.
Bandit: T-these guys... Damn you... We'll remember this!
(Bandit leaves. Minerva appears.)
Minerva: Sir, what is your name?
Hardin: I have no name worthy of note.
Minerva: Bah... I see. Well, fair enough. The actions of those men offended me, too, but I see you were faster to the hunt.
Hardin: By any chance, are you... Dame Minerva of Macedon?
Minerva: Indeed I am. But how did you know?
Hardin: I heard the Macedonian army had a beautiful woman, clad in scarlet armor. Rumors say she's a gifted soldier, nicknamed the Red Dragoon.
Minerva: Heh... Those rumors are grossly exaggerated.
Hardin: Either way, I presume those men weren't official Macedonian soldiers? Are they deserters?
Minerva: As much as it shames me, that seems to be the case.
Hardin: I see. Then, I believe I have a firm grasp of the situation.
Minerva: Where do you intend to go, now?
Hardin: I am heading towards the fortress near here. According to the villagers, the scoundrels we saw before are using it as their base and ravaging the nearby villages. Apparently the kidnapped village maidens were taken there as well. There isn't a moment to waste.
Minerva: What in heavens!? There's a large group of them? I don't believe it...! That can't be...
Hardin: So, if you'll excuse me, I must hurry ahead! Wolf, Roshea, let's go.
(Hardin leaves.)
Minerva: Ah, wait! ...They're gone.
Palla: Commander, what are our orders?
Minerva: Palla... I'll follow them, together with Catria and Est. You are to go ahead to the castle and bring reinforcements.
Palla: Yes, understood. The castle isn't far from here. I shall return as soon as I can, so please don't push yourselves. Catria, Est. Take care of the commander.
Catria: Yes, sister.
Est: Leave it to us!
Minerva: Catria, Est, let's follow them at once.
Catria: Understood!
(Fade to black.)
Ruben: Father Frost. Have you made your decision?
Frost: No matter how many times you ask, my answer is the same. I will not betray Macedon...
Ruben: What? You still spouting that rubbish? That's fine by me. If you can't obey my orders, then I'll have your head on a plate. And not only your head, but the heads of your family and relatives as well. That's a lot of plates I'll be needing.
Frost: D-damn... Just what... am I supposed to do...?

During Battle

Minerva: Catria, Est. There are archers nearby. Beware their attacks or it could cost you dearly.
Hardin: Dame Minerva, leave the archers to us. We shall make mincemeat of them. You fly on ahead.
Minerva: Very well. I'll leave that in your hands. Then, let's go.

Turn 1 Enemy Phase

Soldier: Lord Ruben, it's an enemy attack! An unknown force led by a dracoknight is headin' this way!
Ruben: Did you say a dracoknight? Who would want to come to a backwater place like this...? But they don't seem that dangerous. Don't worry about them. Should they approach this fortress, I'll make short work of them.

Start of Turn 5

Ruben: Hey, you there. How does the battle fare?
Soldier: Sir, the enemy is fast approachin' this fortress.
Ruben: Damn... What a bunch of annoying rats. Alright, send the reinforcements. Call back everyone who left for the other villages!
Soldier: Yes sir!
(Reinforcements begin to appear)

Visiting the Eastern Village

Villager: Oh gosh... You're the people from before... I beg of you. Please, please save our village. We can't do anything to help... But at least, take this vulnerary. Please take care...

(Obtained Vulnerary.)

Visiting the Northern Village

Villager: Oh-ho, it's you again! The ones who are goin' to exterminate those fiendish ruffians! Please have this strength potion. I beg o' you, avenge us!

(Obtained Energy Drop.)

Conversation: Minerva and Est

Minerva: Est. This battlefield is wide, but don't go too far ahead by yourself. And keep an eye out for enemies as you proceed.
Est: Yes ma'am! I'll do my best!

Conversation: Minerva and Catria

Minerva: Catria! The enemy general is mine. I shall leave the other soldiers to you. However, don't underestimate them. Be sure to finish each of them in one blow.
Catria: Understood, Commander.

Conversation: Minerva and Hardin

Hardin: Dame Minerva, are you unhurt?
Minerva: Yes, you needn't worry about my well-being. What about you, sir?
Hardin: No issues here, either. However, the enemies are many, so we mustn't lower our guards.
Minerva: To think so many shameless scoundrels would claim to be part of the noble Macedonian army... The misdeeds of Macedon are my responsibility. Do not interfere.
Hardin: With all due respect, Dame Minerva, a battle cannot be won alone. As we share the same contempt towards the enemy, it would benefit both of us to join forces against them.
Minerva: ...Very well. However, don't overwork yourself.
Hardin: Your worry is superfluous. I am at home, here. Well, let us go!

Attacking Frost

Frost: I don't want to fight... But if I don't, my family will be...

Killing Frost

Frost: I don't care if I die... But... my family...

Recruiting Frost

Frost: Oh, this dracoknight is...
Minerva: Father Frost, so it was you... Why are you aiding those vile excuses for people?
Frost: Princess Minerva... Forgive me... The truth is, Ruben threatened me. If I didn't do what he wanted, he said he would do away with my family and I...
Minerva: I see... Father Frost, you may rest at ease. We shall destroy the bandits. We won't let them lay a single finger on you or your family. I swear upon my honor.
Frost: Oh, Princess Minerva... I'm glad I could count on you. Please, protect my family...

Attacking Ruben

Ruben: Come at me! I'm not the one who's about to die!

Attacking Ruben with Minerva

Ruben: Munchin' Manaketes! Am I surprised to face you directly in the battlefield, Princess Minerva.
Minerva: You're... Ruben. I didn't think I'd find you here, not after you were banished from the army for your acts of brutality against civilians. ...So you lead the deserters. Surrender. If you don't, I shall strike you down as an enemy of Macedon!
Ruben: Heh...! I don't take orders from you anymore. For some reason, the folks at Macedon worship you royals as if you were gods. Yet, the crown prince fancies himself a patricide, the older sister is a charmless buffoon... and the younger sister is a brat whose only talent is getting kidnapped. Who on earth could put up with the stupid military, when even the country's like that too? Wouldn't you agree, Minerva the Buffoon!
Minerva: Dastard... How dare you belittle us! I believe you've just shown your readiness to accept your fate.
Ruben: Heh! Not if I kill you first!

Killing Ruben

Ruben: Gyaaaah!

Ending

Palla: Commander! Are you alright?
Minerva: Palla. Don't worry about us, we're fine. What of the reinforcements?
Palla: They are almost here already.
Minerva: Good job.
Soldier: Princess Minerva, please leave the rest to us! We shall deliver a heavy punishment to the criminals who dared to sully Macedon's good name! But, Princess, there's something important... Isn't that knight Hardin of Aurelis?
Minerva: What do you mean?
Soldier: Why, he's the spitting image of the infamous Coyote, leader of the rebel army. Should we capture and interrogate him...?
Minerva: ...Nonsense. There is no way that man is Hardin.
Soldier: But as I said, he's the spitting...
Minerva: I said he isn't. Now leave us!
Soldier: P-pardon me, ma'am!
(Fade to black.)
Hardin: Dame Minerva, so the rumors were true. The Red Dragoon is truly a wise, courageous and able commander. Hahaha! I look forward to seeing you again in the battlefield! Now, if you'll excuse me.
Minerva: Coyote... Hardin.
Palla: Commander, did you say something?
Minerva: No, nothing. Let's go.
Palla: Understood.

Outro

Princess Minerva of Macedon. Filled with awe and respect, the people called her the "Red Dragoon."
