Ranward (Japanese: ランウォード Ranward) is a character in the Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi manga. He is also known as Marquess Worde due to being the ruler of Worde Castle.

Role
During the invasion of Bern, the Worde Castle was burned down by Youzen who double-crossed Ranward. Ranward was later imprisoned at Olst Castle. There he reunited with Tiena who along with Al and Gant were captured by Youzen. They eventually manage to escape the castle, but Ranward gets fatally wounded by the mage who helped demolish Worde Castle. With his dying words, Ranward told Tiena that they only way to defeat Bern is to obtain the Fire Emblem.
