Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Naglfar (Japanese: ナグルファル Naglfar) is a dark tome which appears only in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is one of the game's two S rank dark tomes and the more powerful of the two. During the story it is an enemy-exclusive tome, though it can be obtained in the post-game Creature Campaign.

Naglfar is wielded by Prince Lyon of Grado against Eirika's and Ephraim's troops shortly before the resurrection of Fomortiis. The exact origin of Naglfar is unknown, though Lyon is not seen possessing it before entering the Black Temple.

Naglfar is mentioned in Fire Emblem Heroes during Paralogue 10-3. During the paralogue Veronica obtains it from the Sacred World and gives it to Loki in exchange for their king's support of her conflict with Askr. Loki mentions that the book will allow her king's vessel to move,[1] though the exact implications of this are not understood.
