Roy: Young Lion

Roy belongs to the noble house of Pherae, a member of Elibe's Lycian League. You might have heard of his father, Eliwood!

As the marquess's son, Roy lived a peaceful life, until one day, grave news came to Pherae. The kingdom of Bern, a major power to the east, had begun to invade its neighboring countries!

Suffering from a serious illness, Eliwood was too sick to lead Pherae's army. Instead, Roy took command, and set off to join the rest of the Lycian League's forces before it was too late!

Bern had revived a legendary dragon, and the only way to counter it was to find the sacred weapons hidden across Elibe. Roy and his allies journeyed far and wide to prepare for the clash, but how will that battle go?

Roy: Blazing Lion

Roy is the successor to the title of Marquess of Pherae, of the Lycian League.

Roy is also a descendant of heroes, and you can see a lot of his father's bravery and righteousness in him.

After war broke out in a conflict started by the neighboring kingdom of Bern, Roy went into battle together with his childhood friend, Lilina.

With the Binding Blade in hand, Roy restored the demon dragon Idunn to her former self, undoing Bern's schemes and bringing peace back to the world.

Roy once saved Elibe from the threat of the Demon Dragon, so his outfit features a gleaming brooch themed on the Binding Blade, the weapon he used in the decisive battle. Now that's a heroic look!

Eliwood, meanwhile, is demonstrating where his son got his sense of style from: his outfit's sporting a brooch based on his trusty sword, Durandal!

Both father and son have saved the continent of Elibe from peril over the course of each of their adventures. This year's bridal festival truly has been blessed with grooms whose deeds and sense of style are equally outstanding!

During the war with Bern, Wolt was there to support Roy every step of the way. Now, he's helping the Order of Heroes!

Those trunks really suit Wolt's brisk and carefree style! Ah, that mischievous grin… Still, I wonder why he decided to join the Order of Heroes in a swimsuit?

With that basket full of seafood perched on his back, Wolt looks happy as a clam. I hope he brought enough to share with everyone for dinner tonight!

In his younger days, Merlinus was a traveling merchant who wandered Elibe, but after an encounter with Eliwood, he entered the service of House Pherae.

Later, when Eliwood's son Roy began his own journey, Merlinus joined him in order to provide support.

For decades, Merlinus has supported House Pherae without taking center stage. Still, it's safe to say that his unfailing loyalty and the things he's achieved could put even a storied knight to shame!

With that outfit, Lilina's even cuter than ever…which to be honest, I didn't realize was even possible. I hope the others don't feel too left out when she draws a crowd!

It was during the conflict that Lilina's talent for magic blossomed. With her magical prowess and her family's history of leadership at her command, Lilina helped to bring victory to the Lycian League!

Well, Lugh and Raigh may look alike, but their personalities are totally different! Raigh's the bitter realist, while Lugh's the starry-eyed optimist.

Their differences extend to the kinds of magic they use, too! Lugh favors wind-based anima magic, and Raigh's pretty much the opposite, using dark magic.

Lugh grew up in an orphanage, and joined Roy and his friends to avenge the murder of the man who raised him. They called him the Anima Child—let's see what he can do!

Raigh and his twin brother, Lugh, grew up in an orphanage run by a kindly caretaker, where for a while, they lived a modest but peaceful life with their friend Chad.

One day, Raigh fled the orphanage to pursue mastery of ancient magic. After encountering Chad and Lugh later, he learned that the orphanage had been attacked by the Kingdom of Bern's army.

Swearing to avenge his late guardian, Raigh joined the Lycian League to bring down Bern. He might seem bitter and standoffish at first, but deep down, he really does care!

Chad's a young thief, and he's got a lot of grit for a boy of his age. There's a reason for that, and sadly, it's a rather unfortunate one.

You see, a while back, Chad used to live in an orphanage, where he spent his days in calm surroundings with his friends, Raigh and Lugh, and a kindly old caretaker.

But those peaceful days were shattered when Bern's army attacked the orphanage, with Chad's caretaker dying during the attack. Chad swore vengeance and fled.

Later on, he joined Roy's army to fight against Bern. Chad has had a difficult lot in life, with his childhood ending before it had even begun. I hope that one day, his wounded heart will begin to mend…

You know, Klein's mother, Louise, is something of an archer herself. I suppose he must have inherited his talents from her!

Klein became a general early in his career, and was dispatched to the Western Isles off the Etrurian coast. That was when he encountered the corruption that had taken root in the government there.

In order to save the Western Isles from their plight, Klein joined Roy, the leader of the Lycian League. Ah, a handsome young noble, fighting to right the wrongs of his homeland… How moving!

Clarine: Refined Noble

At one point, Clarine left home to see her brother Klein, whom she admires. But during her travels, she was deceived by a villain who then kidnapped her, hoping to make her into a gift to the Kingdom of Bern.

Things looked dire, but as luck would have it, she was freed by the swordsman Rutger. Having escaped with her life, Clarine took shelter with Roy's army and joined the fight against Bern.

During the war, she used the power of healing staves to help her fellow members of the Lycian League. Seeing her stand with them, proud and radiant, her fellow soldiers' hearts swelled with courage!

Zephiel: The Liberator

Bern, the eastern kingdom of Elibe, is a mighty military nation with a great many wyvern knights under its command. Standing at the peak of power and prestige in Bern is none other than its king: Zephiel!

Zephiel was born the heir to the previous king, Desmond. He was shrewd and clever from an early age, and he was a kind big brother to his sister, Guinivere.

However, once Zephiel took the throne, he seemed to transform into someone completely different. Taking the royal sword Eckesachs in hand, he used strange draconic powers to invade Bern's neighboring countries!

I don't know why Zephiel changed the way that he did, but I suspect that he'd been keeping this ambition of his a secret for a long time. Do you think maybe one day he'll go back to being the kind soul he used to be?

Murdock: Loyal General

The kingdom of Bern is located in the east of the continent of Elibe. Murdock leads its Wyvern Generals—most know him as the kingdom’s mightiest warrior!

Stern and direct, Murdock has served the kingdom since King Zephiel was a child, making him one of the king’s most trusted retainers.

Supporting Murdock is Galle. Though not native to Bern, Galle’s skill was more than enough to be recognized by Murdock.

A true warrior, Murdock was selected to join the Wyvern Generals at a young age. How reasurring it will be to have him join the Order of Heroes!

Brunnya swore her absolute loyalty to Zephiel, the King of Bern. And of course, Zephiel trusts her the most out of all his vassals.

Her feats in battle were so outstanding that she rose to the top flight of the Bern military: the Wyvern Generals. With crashing lightning bolts and shearing winds at her command, Roy and friends were in for a tough time…

She'd definitely be a terrifying foe to face in battle, but I bet that if we got her on our side, we'd find few partners more reliable than her. Show us what you can do, Brunnya!

The armies of Bern have a grand host of wyvern knights, and the greatest three among their number are known as the Wyvern Generals! Narcian is…one of them. All right, I guess that wraps up this installment! Snacks, anyone?

Er, ahem! Sorry. The thing is, Narcian doesn't have the greatest reputation among his subordinates. They don't think he deserves his rank—some would even go so far as to say that he stole it. That's all rumors, mind you!

As one of the Wyvern Generals, Narcian was among those ordered to attack the Lycian League. But even with Bern's military under his command, he struggled to keep up with Roy and friends.

Later, he was ordered to attack Etruria, and…he wasn't very successful there, either. Oh dear. I wonder if Narcian will ever achieve something that'll put the rumors to rest…

You know, this outfit really suits Narcian's penchant for the finer things in life. The chiffon cape and puffy sleeves certainly are elegant, aren't they?

A group of three islands lie to the west of Elibe—and the surrounding waters are home to Geese, a pirate who has made his territory there!

Geese once ran a trading company. But the war made business difficult, so he was forced to turn to piracy in order to keep his men from going hungry.

Geese and his crew might have been pirates, but they weren't exactly a group of bloodthirsty marauders. They would transport goods through dangerous waters on the behalf of villagers, take on escort missions, and so on… I guess you could call them pirates with hearts of gold!

People say that Geese deserves better than being a pirate, but he truly does love life at sea. I hope to learn from his example about what it means to be a Hero among pirates!

We've got one cute little visitor with us today! This time, I'll be telling you about Fae, who comes from Nabata. Isn't she adorable? You'd never guess that she's actually a Divine Dragon who's worshipped back home!

In fact, Fae is several hundred years old, and she'd been keeping a low profile in Nabata to prevent her powers from being misused. Several hundred years, though… I can barely begin to imagine what that must be like.

After a while (or maybe a couple hundred years), Fae left the village to see the outside world…and was promptly captured by the army of Bern. Fortunately, she was freed by Roy and her friends from the village before she came to any harm.
