Marth: Altean Prince

Marth: Altean Prince
Marth is the prince of Altea, a kingdom on the continent of Archanea. Long ago, Marth's predecessor Anri used the Falchion to seal away the Shadow Dragon, Medeus—but Medeus later returned to exact his revenge upon the kingdom.	Medeus was assisted by Gharnef, the Dark Pontifex, who stole the Falchion to keep it from being used again. His plans were foiled when Marth reclaimed the sacred blade during the war with Medeus's forces, the Dolhr Empire!	With the Falchion in hand, Marth fought with a great host of allies at his side to finally defeat Medeus.	Marth is an inspiring figure who led people from all walks of life to achieve great things. I hope he can help bring all of the Heroes here in Askr together as well!

He then used it to defeat the Shadow Dragon Medeus, ruler of the Dolhr Empire!	But true victory over Medeus had yet to come…until a century later, when Marth followed in Anri's footsteps to claim Falchion and slay the revived Shadow Dragon!	Anri was rewarded with a kingdom of his own, but he was unable to marry the woman he loved because of his common origins. So I hope Marth finds true and lasting happiness with his betrothed, Caeda!

When Marth was just finding his feet as a leader, the veteran Jagen was there to lend his strength to the Altean army.	He fought valiantly in the War of Shadows. Later on, during the War of Heroes, he continued to support Marth by serving as his military advisor.	Oh, and I've got a message from him too! Let's see… “Take care that you trust in others as you would trust in yourself, lest you keep other young talents from flourishing.” Huh—sounds like words of wisdom to remember!

And if you see him charging into battle atop his trusty steed, you'll see why they call him the Bull!	The nickname describes his personality, too. He's pretty much the opposite of the calm and collected Abel, but at the same time, that's what makes them great partners. They've both worked hard—sometimes competing, sometimes helping each other out—to become the knights they are today.	Cain fought bravely throughout the War of Shadows and the War of Heroes, and become renowned across Archanea for his valor. Imagine what he could do for the Order of Heroes!

Draug cares more about protecting his friends than defeating his foes, and this ideal characterized his actions all the way through both the War of Shadows and the War of Heroes.	When his allies found themselves in trouble, Draug was there to protect them from harm with an impenetrable wall of solid steel. I'm sure that if he joins us, he'll be our shield too!

Gordin is an archer serving with the Altean royal knights. He was with Marth from the start of his adventures, helping him achieve victory in a number of battles!	Gordin was something of a rookie when the War of Shadows first broke out, but after the war, he became a pupil of the famed sharpshooter Jeorge. With Jeorge as his mentor, Gordin's skills improved by leaps and bounds!	Jeorge initially opposed Marth during the War of Heroes, but Gordin managed to convince him into joining Marth's struggle for peace.	Sometimes, Gordin worries that he doesn't quite look the part with his boyish appearance, but I can tell that he's a talented archer and a true Hero despite his looks.

But she's willing to put her life on the line to protect others, which inspired many soldiers to join Marth's army!	Caeda's compassion and her ability to sway others supported Marth throughout his journey. As a fellow princess, I wonder if I'll ever be like her… Maybe she can teach me a thing or two!

Of course, kindness isn't Caeda's only good quality. She's trained hard in the art of war from an early age, and I'm told she's always dreamed of becoming a great pegasus knight.	Caeda is both strong and warm-hearted. The people of Talys are truly blessed to have a princess like her!

Drawn together from distant worlds, the two are teaming up to soar through the summer skies!	Caeda often has a distinctively regal look, and this swimsuit ensemble is no exception! Look closely and you'll see that her shoulders and feet are decorated with some pegasus-themed designs.	Meanwhile, Plumeria's outfit borrows from the typical look I'm sure you're all familiar with, featuring very mature black and violet tones. She looks like a dark, daring butterfly!	Caeda shines like the morning sun, while Plumeria glows like a midnight moon. The two might be very different from one another, but the contrast only helps to show them at their best!

Ogma is the captain of Talys's mercenaries. He's an accomplished swordsman who places great value on loyalty, and everyone counts on him to get things done!	Once an enslaved gladiator, Ogma planned to escape the arena with some of his allies, only for their attempt to end in failure. Ogma took full responsibility to save his friends, and just as he was about to be executed, a young Princess Caeda passed by!	Having been saved at the last second by Caeda's intervention, Ogma entered her service. Later, during the War of Shadows, the King of Talys ordered him to join the Altean army, led by Prince Marth.	The conflict dragged on, but Ogma kept Caeda safe all the way through to the end! I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll do next while working with the Order of Heroes!

He's definitely making his presence felt in a way that only a veteran mercenary can.	For this outing, Ogma's weapon of choice is a blue trident! His subordinates—Barst, Bord, and Cord (can't forget Bord and Cord!)—have a knack for combat at sea, but Ogma's no slouch either!	Talys might be an island country, but it seems Ogma never had time for a beach vacation. Now he's catching up on missed opportunities with the time off Caeda gave him!

Barst is a warrior who volunteered to join a group of mercenaries from Talys! Nowadays though, he puts his hatchet to use in his work as a woodcutter.	During his mercenary days, Barst joined the Altean army as part of a group led by Ogma. At his side were his fellow mercenaries, Bord and Cord, and together, the trio of axe-wielding warriors fought their way through the War of Shadows.	Barst remained with the Archanean army for a short while, but eventually deserted, having tired of warfare. He then spent some time as a pirate, but it was while swashbuckling on the high seas that he realized the quiet life of a woodcutter was his true calling.	Throughout his various careers, there's one thing that's always stuck with Barst—his trusty axe! Wait, was he using the same axe to cut wood that he used to… Never mind. I don't want to think about it… Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of axe-related works he can do for the Order of Heroes!

Today, I'll introduce you to Nyna, princess of Archanea, the kingdom that boasts the largest sphere of influence on the continent of the same name. She is from a distinguished lineage and inherited the Fire Emblem, symbol of the ruler who delivers the world from peril.	However, the other members of the royal family of Archanea were wiped out when the kingdom was invaded by the Dolhr Empire, led by the Shadow Dragon, Medeus, and its ally, the kingdom of Grust.	Fearing capture, Nyna was about to end her own life when she was stopped by Camus, a general of Grust.	Nyna fled to Aurelis, where she obtained the aid of Hardin and proclaimed her intent to defeat Dolhr. She then entrusted the Fire Emblem to Marth and laid the groundwork for peace to be brought back to the land.

Linde is a mage, and the daughter of Miloah, pontifex of Archanea and one of Gotoh's best students out of Khadein. Through him, she inherited the tome Aura, a spell that only a select few can use!	Miloah was assassinated by Gharnef, the so-called Dark Pontifex, who aimed to seize control of Khadein. Knowing that he was also after Aura, Linde fled, disguising herself as a boy to escape Gharnef's notice.	She eventually found herself in Knorda, a place infamous for its slave market. There, she was captured by rogues, but fortunately, Marth and the Altean army happened to find her and rescued her from her plight!	Despite the hardships she went through, Linde managed to keep Aura safe. I'm sure that her strong determination will be a great aid to the Order of Heroes!
