Sigurd is the heir to Chalphy, a duchy of Grannvale, and a knight descended from the crusader Baldr!	Sigurd is brave and virtuous. When the Kingdom of Verdane invaded a neighboring duchy, he and his army rushed to their aid.	During his foray into the forests of Verdane, Sigurd had a fateful encounter with Deirdre, and the two fell in love. How romantic!	Afterwards, Sigurd went from battle to battle across the continent of Jugdral. Before long, everyone in the realm would hear about the exploits of the Holy Knight of Grannvale!

A number of stalwart knights serve Chalphy, the duchy governed by the descendants of the crusader Baldr. This time, I'll be introducing Arden, one of the knights of Chalphy!	Arden's allies often poke fun at him for being slow because he's weighed down by his heavy armor, but his unshakeable tenacity and fearsome swordsmanship make him the core of Chalphy's defenses!	When the neighboring duchy of Yngvi came under invasion, Sigurd led a force from Chalphy to come to its aid. This left a shortage of manpower at the castle, but it was in good hands with Arden assigned to keep the place safe!	So you can see that people rely on Arden a lot already, but he's got lofty goals for himself—he wants to be able to pull off flashy flurries of attacks and impress the love of his life, whoever she may be! I'm rooting for you, Arden!

Brigid forbade her crew from attacking villages, and the local inhabitants grew to trust her because of this. However, there were some among her crew who took issue with this policy…	Brigid was raised by pirates from a young age, but she's actually a descendent of one of the 12 crusaders! I wonder if her crusader bloodline will allow her to wield her house's sacred bow.	Brigid eventually regained memories of her childhood after reuniting with her sister, but that's a story for after the pirate festival. With a real pirate like Brigid on board, this is going to be a festival to remember!

His bloodline made him a descendant of the crusader Fjalar, and he was also gifted with natural talent and resourcefulness, which he put to use in serving the kingdom.	At one point, he took a beautiful young woman who had lost her memory into his protection, and the two fell in love. Who was she, you ask? Well, she was none other than Deirdre, a member of the Grannvale royal line!	Arvis married Deirdre and became the heir to the throne. Once he became emperor, he then set about expanding the territory of the new Grannvale Empire…

There, they fought Verdane's army alongside Sigurd, the heir to Chalphy.	Azelle struggles with a need to prove himself, but I know that he's a real Hero—one whose heart burns like the flames of Fjalar!

He much preferred the company of his friend Azelle of Velthomer to that of his father and brother.	When the duchy of Yngvi was invaded by Verdane, Azelle went to help to fend off the attack. Worried for his friend's safety, Lex decided to join him.	In fact, Lex's actions amounted to a betrayal of his family, but that didn't matter to him. They say that blood is thicker than water, but even blood ties couldn't compare to the bond that he shared with Azelle!

He's also very close friends with her brother, Sigurd!	When Quan heard that his friend was fighting against Verdane, he rushed to his support, bringing Ethlyn and his retainer Finn with him. He couldn't bear to let his friend fight alone!	With the holy Gáe Bolg in hand, Quan charged into what would be a hard-fought battle to help Sigurd. I wish I could have been there to learn a thing or two about wielding a lance!

I suppose Quan is much more at home on the battlefield than he is at the dance hall, but he's putting his best foot forward! Instead of his usual weapon, the Gáe Bolg, he's carrying an exquisite-looking bow that fits right in to the sophisticated atmosphere of the ball!	There's a lot of attention fixed firmly in Quan's direction tonight, but he only has eyes for Ethlyn, which makes him all the more charming!

Jamke is the third prince of Verdane, a kingdom in the dense forests of Jugdral. He's an amazing shot with a bow!	Unlike his older brothers, Jamke has a very gentle disposition. When Verdane started an invasion of Grannvale, he desperately tried to get his father, King Batu, to put a stop to the fighting.	However, his pleas fell on deaf ears, and the invasion continued. Jamke was forced to participate in the conflict, but after some convincing from his confidante Edain, he made the difficult decision to turn against his own kingdom's forces.	In the end, when the bloody war was over, Jamke was left the only surviving member of Verdane's royal family. But even so, he continued to fight for the sake of his kingdom, and for Edain!

Lewyn: Guiding Breeze
Lewyn is a traveling bard. It goes without saying that he knows his way around a musical instrument, but he's also an extremely talented mage as well!	There's a reason for that, of course. You see, his lifestyle as a bard is a cover. Lewyn is actually the prince of Silesse, and the descendant of the crusader Ced!	Lewyn is something of a free spirit. He simply left the kingdom one day, which caused a commotion and resulted in a team being frantically sent out to find him.	Don't get him wrong, though. He's very caring and considerate, particularly toward the weak and downtrodden. And with his carefree, breezy demeanor, he really does make a great bard!

A stylish guest from Silesse has come to attend the Day of the Twelve festival! That's right, it's Lewyn, and he's making an appearance in a special outfit!	This elegant outfit is based on the attire worn by Ced, Lewyn's ancestor. He was one of the 12 crusaders, who once carried the wind tome Forseti!	The green shawl Lewyn is wearing calls to mind a gentle breeze, and it comes complete with metallic fittings that gleam with the light. Lewyn once guided Seliph, the Scion of Light, so I'd say that it's a pretty appropriate addition!	Lewyn has something of a relaxed, mature attitude that makes him seem rather grown-up compared to others. I hope that he'll continue to look out for the younger Heroes at the festival!

Today I'm introducing Díthorba, one of the Four Heavenly Knights of Silesse! The pegasus knights of Silesse are a force to be reckoned with, and she's one of their very best.	After the passing of the king, Silesse entered a succession crisis. Díthorba was a member of the army of Tófa, which represented a faction from Silesse that opposed Queen Lahna, the widow of the late king.	This made Díthorba an enemy of her former comrades within the pegasus knights, but despite the circumstances she found herself in, her fighting spirit showed no signs of waning.	While she might seem cold for the way that she ended up turning on her erstwhile allies, I hear that Díthorba has a young daughter—and I'm sure that she fights not only out of pride in her duty, but for her daughter's sake as well.

Erinys is a pegasus knight from Silesse, and she's one of their Four Heavenly Knights!	She's very serious about her duties, and her devotion hasn't gone unnoticed by the royal family. The only reason she left the kingdom was to find the wayward prince Lewyn and bring him back.	Her honorable, straightforward nature saw her deceived by others during her journey, but she was eventually reunited with Lewyn. He had joined the army led by Sigurd, and Erinys decided to join her prince in cooperating with Chalphy's forces.	Erinys is a woman of few words, but her actions make her dedication to Silesse clear. She and her pegasus continue to soar through the skies in loyal service to her kingdom!

Here's Eldigan, the suave and dashing ruler of Nordion! He's thick as thieves with Sigurd, the Prince of Chalphy, and Quan, the Prince of Leonster!	Eldigan's trademark weapon is Mystletainn! This is the same sword once wielded by his ancestor, one of the 12 crusaders. You know, I heard it drinks its victims' blood… Yikes!	Eldigan is a king, but he's also a knight, and the person who cares for the most is his sister, Lachesis. Sounds a lot like another famous brother-sister duo, am I right? (Me and Alfonse. I'm talking about me and Alfonse.)	Eldigan might seem a bit too cool for school at times, but he truly cares for his sister and his friends. In other words, he's a lot more warm-hearted than you might think…hot-blooded, even!
