Kumagera (Japanese: クマゲラ Kumagera) is a Hoshidan general leading an assassination attempt against King Garon, and the capturable boss of Chapter 14 in the Conquest campaign of Fire Emblem Fates. Kumagera leads a band of Hoshidan troops into the Nestrian city of Cyrkensia intent on bringing an end to the war by killing Garon, taking advantage of Azura's performance weakening Garon, but is ultimately defeated by Corrin and his/her army. As a capturable boss, Kumagera can be captured by Niles and placed into the My Castle's prison if one is present, then recruited into the player's army as a bonus unit from there.
