Path of Radiance

You dare to bring conflict into Bishop Oliver's home? My lance will make you pay for your impudence!
— Kimaarsi

Kimaarsi (Japanese: キマーシ Kimarsi) is a Begnion soldier and a commander in the personal army of Duke Oliver of Tanas. On Oliver's orders he attacked Ike and the Greil Mercenaries after they discovered Reyson being held as a slave by Oliver, aiming to wipe them all out before they could report this to Sanaki.

Kimaarsi is fiercely loyal to Oliver and objects to anyone defiling his home or his honor. He realizes to some extent that Oliver's abduction of Reyson is an evil act, but only realizes he should have acted on this as he died. He is shrewd enough to know that defying Sanaki is not something one does lightly but believes that by simply exterminating Ike and his forces, Sanaki will never need to know the truth.

Battle quotes

This is the domain of my master, Bishop Oliver, the duke of Tanas. You will learn that no one impugns his honor and lives to walk away!
— Kimaarsi, as the boss of Chapter 16 in Path of Radiance.
Wretched, baseborn animal! Begone! You will not defile this place!
— Kimaarsi, when fighting any beast tribe laguz in Chapter 16 in Path of Radiance.
Ike: I don't want unnecessary bloodshed. Tell your men to stand down! In your service to Duke Tanas, would you go so far as to oppose the will of the apostle herself?
Kimaarsi: ...Defying Apostle Sanaki? Mmm... It is not something I am fool enough to take lightly. Therefore, I will simply ensure that the incompent messengers who attacked us never return to her palace...
Ike: So that's your answer, is it?

— Kimaarsi, when fighting Ike in Cchapter 16 of Path of Radiance.

Death quote

What... What fate is this? Is it just punishment... for my this evil...
— Kimaarsi, as the boss of Chapter 16 in Path of Radiance.
