Weapon (Beast)

First game

Heralding Horn (Japanese: 新年を開く角 New Year's opening horn) is a weapon skill in the beast category which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; it is a personal weapon of the New Year's variation of Ash. When a foe initiates combat or is at high HP, Heralding Horn boosts the user's attack and drops the foe's, and grants additional effects based on the number of allies near the user.

If target initiates combat or has at least 75% HP at start of combat, during combat, boosts user's attack by 6, drops target's attack by 6, and grants effects based on the number of allies within three spaces of the user:
• One or more allies: user strikes twice consecutively.
• Two or more allies: reduces damage from the target's first strike by 40%.
• Three or more allies: foe cannot make a follow-up strike.
At start of user's phase, transforms user if they are untransformed and not adjacent to a human ally, or untransforms user if they are transformed and adjacent to a human ally. On a turn where user transforms, user's attack is boosted by 2, user's damage is increased by 7 when triggering special skill, and neutralizes effects that would increase the foe's special skill cooldown charge or decrease the user's cooldown charge.
