“ | Show them the strength of the Fiana Freeblades! | ” | — Eyvel |
---|
The Fiana Freeblades (Japanese: フィアナ義勇軍 Fiana Militia) is a troupe of warriors based in the Thracian village of Fiana. The group was founded by the amnesiac warrior Eyvel shortly after her arrival in Fiana and subsequent efforts to drive out its bandits, and is comprised of local warriors and by members of the Mt. Violdrake bandits led by Dagdar; their goal is to defend the villages of the region from threats as diverse as bandits and the Grannvale army. When Leif, Finn and Nanna arrived in Fiana, they entered the protection of the Freeblades and occasionally assisted in their work; in Grann 776, when Leif set out on his revolution, the Freeblades formed the core of what would become his army.
