Cornelia Arnim[2] (pronounced /kɔɹˈniliə ˈɑɹnɪm/[key]; Japanese: コルネリア=アルニム Cornelia Arnim) is a non-playable character mentioned in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. She was an Imperial scholar from the Adrestian Empire.
Biography
Cornelia Arnim is a scholar from the Adrestian Empire. In Imperial Year 1165, she left the Empire to travel to the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, where she cured a plague that was devastating the Kingdom's populace,[3] and later helped her friend Anselma, ex-consort of Emperor Ionius IX, seek asylum in the Kingdom, providing her shelter under the name of Patricia.[4] For her medical deeds, King Lambert appointed the Adrestian scholar the position of Court Mage.
In the routes where Cornelia eventually seems to appear in person, it is implied through her connections with those who slither in the dark, as well by her sudden shift in personality before receiving her title of Court Mage,[5] that Cornelia was disposed of and later replaced by Cleobulus, a high ranking member of said group, intending to abuse Cornelia's new position in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.

The person who saved the Kingdom wasn't a doctor but a holy woman—the fair Lady Cornelia. After that, she was awarded the honor of being a mage in the service of the royal family." — Sylvain during monastery exploration in Chapter 8, Fire Emblem: Three Houses

[...] I heard the lady helped bring her to the Kingdom, but I don't really know the details." — Dimitri and Hapi in their B-Support, Fire Emblem: Three Houses - ↑ "People praised Cornelia as a saint for ending the epidemic. But there came a day when she completely changed. Her behavior, mannerisms, likes, dislikes...everything. Despite all that, Father still appointed her to a high post.
