Yuzu (Japanese: ユズ Yuzu) is a character introduced in the Fire Emblem Cipher trading card game. She is a Samurai from Hoshido. She is introduced in the 11th column on the Fire Emblem Cipher website. Her first appearance as a character in a mainline Fire Emblem series title is as a playable downloadable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

Like Emma and Shade, she appears in many different classes within her various cards.

She is another character that participates in the Cipher column of the Japanese official site. Unlike Emma and Shade she has not been around from the start, and makes her debut in the 11th column. Her first appearance in the Cipher TCG is in series three, The Twin Swords to Hope.

Yuzu is currently featured on ten cards in Fire Emblem Cipher.

After the war, Yuzu departed Valentia for a new land. History makes no further mention of her, but some say she became well-versed in a variety of classes during her quest to perfect the arts of war. Day and night, she could be seen honing her skills on the battlefield.

Trivia

• Yuzu is the third Fire Emblem series character to originate from a TCG, after Emma and Shade.
• In Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Yuzu has no spells in her NPC appearance, despite the fact that units of the Priestess class have fire and recover by default. This is likely to reference Yuzu's apparent preference for sword-wielding classes in Cipher; as no other female sword-wielding classes exist in Shadows of Valentia, she instead appears as a Priestess. She gains the basic Priestess spells upon recruitment, however.
