Kris and Katarina are placed together in the 7th Platoon along with the cavalrymen Luke and Roderick and the archer Ryan. Jagen orders the group to designate a leader; Luke volunteers himself, and Katarina suggests Kris. To settle the debate, the two engage in mock combat, with Luke taking Roderick as an ally and Kris taking Ryan. Luke and Roderick's poor teamwork spells their swift downfall, and Kris is named commander of the 7th Platoon.
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
Your new unit is Ryan the Archer. His stats are a bit below average, but his ability to attack from two range without retaliation is invaluable on Lunatic Reverse and he also supports Kris, which is good.
Your biggest advantage in this map is that Luke is a glory-hungry idiot who charges in ahead of Roderick. On turn 1, move Ryan onto a nearby fort and move Kris nearby. Luke will overextend himself attacking Ryan, who is just tanky enough to survive two attacks from Luke with a round of fort healing. On turn 2, have Ryan and Kris tag-team Luke. Make sure to have Kris take the fort - you don't want Luke to get its healing. Finish Luke on turn 3, and use the forts to patch yourself up. If things go sideways, you can always heal with a Vulnerary. Then use Kris to pull Roderick and waste him. He's noticeably weaker than Luke, so you shouldn't have trouble. Once again, due to the ease of this map, you can probably get away with resetting to get a good level up for Kris.
