(Japanese: 魔女 Witch) is a magical class originating in Fire Emblem Gaiden. In Gaiden, it is an enemy, and female, exclusive variant of the Mage class. While there are two recruitable Witches in Gaiden, Sonia and Dyute, both their classes changes to Mage upon recruitment. Unlike Mages, Witches do not seem to have a promotion of any sort.
Witches are the only class to possess the infamous Warp skill, which allows them to teleport themselves somewhere else on the map before, in Gaiden at least, continuing on to perform another action. In Gaiden, this ability functionally gives them infinite movement, as their self-warping ability has unlimited range.
Witches return in as a playable DLC class for Fire Emblem Fates.
