The (Japanese: ???, Witch) is a class originating in Fire Emblem Gaiden. It is an enemy exclusive variant of the mage class. It is exactly alike in appearance to the player-available mage class. While there is one recruitable witch in the game, Sonia, her class changes to mage upon recruitment. Unlike mages, witches do not seem to have a promotion of any sort.
Witches have the infamous Warp skill. In Gaiden this ability functionally gives them infinite movement, as their self-warping ability has unlimited range. It should be noted that the skill is not explicitly named in Gaiden, but their use of the ability is readily evident.
Witches return as a playable DLC class for Fates, though limited information is available as they are currently unreleased.
