Weissmann (Japanese: ワイズマン Wiseman) is the first boss of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is a soldier of Manster who takes several people in the village of Fiana hostage to interrogate them on the location of the Thracian prince Leif.
Role
Weissmann is a soldier serving Raydrik. In chapter 1, he captures some villagers of Fiana to interrogate them on the location of Leif, but Leif and the rest of the Fiana Freeblades were away fighting pirates. He also captured Finn's daughter Nanna and Eyvel's adopted daughter Mareeta in an attempt to force him out of hiding from Manster. He is defeated by the Freeblades (who had returned), but Nanna and Mareeta were taken back to Manster by Raydrik.

Wiseman Weissmann
|
"Weissmann" appears to be an attempt to make the name less "English" so as to not seem like his name is just a common word. Weissmann (alternatively spelled Weismann, Weißmann, and other variants) is a German surname meaning "white man";[1] one of its spelling variants, Weismann, also has an additional origin as a surname meaning "wise man".[2]
