The Wandering Beast (Japanese: 彷徨えし獣 Wandering beast) is a monster class which debuted in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The personal class of Maurice, the forgotten Elite, it is a bloodthirsty monster that stalks through the night.
Though the Wandering Beast lacks proper programmed stats, it is physically strong, having high strength as well as four large health bars, which are bolstered further by their high defense and Renewal. Its offenses are also considerably deadlier than other monsters, with above-average speed for a monster class, as well as several latent abilities that enhance its power further when it initiates combat. Though its resistance is lacking, its barrier ability, Anti-Magic Armor, alongside Magic Bind provide it protection against magical attacks.

Trivia
Part of the Wandering Beast's texture map.
- Zooming in on the Wandering Beast's battle model will show its Crest Stone beneath its horn, with the text "The Devil" and "XV" engraved on it. This cannot normally be seen during gameplay, as the fog of war in the Wandering Beast's chapter prevents zoom view from being used.
- If the Wandering Beast is afflicted with an armor break, its horn will break.
