— Vigarde

Vigarde (ヴィガルド, Vigarudo) is a character in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is the emperor of Grado, and Prince Lyon's father. He was known for being a kind ruler, and forged alliances with the other countries of Magvel, including Renais. Shortly before the events of the game, he fell ill and died. His son became frantic, searching for any way to bring his father back, and he eventually succeeded. The new Vigarde had changed, though, and he ordered the invasion of Renais. He appears as a boss in Ephraim's route.
