The Venin Sword (Japanese: 毒の剣 Poison Sword), previously known as the Poison Sword and Venin Edge, is an uncommon sword which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. It is statistically near-identical to the regular Iron Sword, except that it contains a toxin which gives it the added effect of poisoning units when the weapon successfully hits them. These swords are almost exclusively found in the hands of enemy units, and only the Tellius games and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia have ways for the player to obtain them.
