New Heroes artwork and portraits

Would you mind leaving uploading of the new Heroes content to me? I have automated scripts and systems that I use to work through and upload the data after an update has been released, so there's no need for anyone to upload the files manually. I appreciate you trying to help, but it works out quicker and easier for everyone involved if I handle it this way. Thanks. --Moydow (Support) 13:22, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I saw there were red links lying around so I couldn't help but solve that. Thanks for letting me know. --Master Snake (talk) 13:28, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Heroes units on your userpage

I'd suggest that you should only list the units you actually use, and/or have fully built, on your userpage. If you list every single unit you own, including ones you don't use, you're going to run past the template include limit pretty quickly, which will cause them to stop working. It'd also make it easier to keep everything organised, and easier for people to read your page and see your units. If you look at my page, for example, I've only listed units with complete builds, and organised them by colour, weapon, and movement type too, so it's easier to navigate (you don't have to follow that exactly, just giving an example). --Moydow (Support) 14:39, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that will fix the issue right now. --Master Snake (talk) 15:44, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

Use previews when editing

Try to use previews more often when editing. Click the "Show preview" button, and you can see what the changes you're making will look like, without having to save the page first, and make as many changes as you like until the page is just as you want it. If you constantly save the page without previewing, you're only creating more work for yourself and the wiki staff - for you, you have to keep going back and editing the page to get it just right, which means more time wasted going back and forth between the page and the edit screen, and for us it means more edits to patrol. Using previews to consolidate your edits will benefit everyone involved. Hope this helps. --Moydow (Support) 14:51, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Warriors map sprites

I've noticed all the Warriors sprites you've uploaded so far seem to be animated as they are in Awakening/Fates. You mentioned in your edit of the playable Elise sprite that you were going to fix those, but the thing is, they're not animated as they are in the original games. The Warriors versions of these sprites have differing rhythms. Just want to make sure you know that before going in. Xamad (talk) 00:22, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Sorry, I was so set on animating the sprites based on those games that I didn't realize those were never correct from the beginning. I'll restart everything.   Master Snake 00:34, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
You don't necessarily need to rebuild everything from scratch, you just need to take what you've got, put it in a gif editor and change up the timing/frame positions a little. But thanks for responding so quickly. Hope it goes well from here on out. Xamad (talk) 00:52, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Text replacements

Can you not move stuff manually while a text replacement is being done? It is being done automatically right now so there is no need for you to do so, and it just means I have to go and delete the redirects. PikaSamus (talk) 16:49, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

Sorry. --  Master Snake 16:49, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

Hold up, hold up...

I noticed you've just uploaded new files of Heroes Grand Conquests maps at "File:<identifier>.png". Standard filename format at present for those Grand Conquests maps that haven't yet been used for Rival Domains calls for a filename of "File:Cm feh <identifier>.png"--and, if you'd looked at Grand Conquests/Gallery#Sixth wave, you'd have noticed such files already exist, uploaded the night after the Legendary Marth datamine rush. If your goal was indeed to improve the existing map files (as opposed to making initial uploads unaware they already existed on the wiki), you would have done well to look at the gallery first before blindly uploading to the wrong filenames, since you could have easily clicked the original files and improved them from there...--Shiningpikablu252 (talk) 03:18, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

You're right I should've looked back at the page instead of going on a careless uploading spree, that's my own fault. I will keep your message in mind the next time I upload the maps again. Sorry for the inconvenience.--  Master Snake 03:50, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
