New user message was an automated utility that automatically left the welcome message on the pages of all new users who registered accounts on Fire Emblem Wiki. This utility had left new user messages on all user talk pages for all users who had registered their accounts from December 1, 2010 until April 30, 2019, at which point it was retired in favor of manually adding the welcome message to new users' talk pages. New user message, as an automated utility, was not a sentient being and thus would never engage in direct contact with any user for any other purpose.
