Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem is an upcoming title for Wii U, developed jointly by Atlus and Intelligent Systems. It is a crossover game between Atlus' flagship Megami Tensei series and the Fire Emblem series.
This title was announced in the January 23, 2013 Nintendo Direct broadcast in North America, Europe, and Japan, in the form of a brief teaser[1]. Little is known about the game at this time beyond the fact that it is currently in development, and no release windows have been announced as of yet. In the broadcast, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata claimed that the crossover is an example of Nintendo taking a new approach to game production, as necessitated by the scale of games for Wii U[2].
In the trailer it shows the game is more inspired by Persona, another game series by Atlus which also has high schools and the lack of having a turn based system that each series is known for. It appears to take place in a very Japanese/J-Pop inspired world, at least in the beginning as a green haired girl with a dragon crest, presumed Tiki with blue cloths, appears later in an ancient monument.
