Tina
- Not to be confused with Tiena, a character from Hasha no Tsurugi often called Tina in fan translations of her reference in The Binding Blade.

“ | I wanted to help you, so I left the city... But then I was captured by a thief named Pirn, and he made me his slave... | ” | — Tina to Safy in Chapter 12x: Dandelion |
---|
(Japanese: ティナ Tina) is a playable priest in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. She is held captive by the leader of the Dandelion Bandits, Pirn, because of her ability to use the Thief and Unlock staves.
Fire Emblem: Thracia 776
Role
After Tina's elder sister, Safy, left Tahra to find people to fight the Empire Tina herself grew restless. Eventually, Tina left Tahra to look for Safy. She didn't get very far, only making it to Dakia Forest before being abducted by Pirn and the Dandelion Bandits. After Pirn "tortured" her, by putting bugs on her face, she agreed to use her Thief and Unlock staves to assist the group in stealing from nobles.[2]
During Chapter 12 Tina briefly appears to give Salem, a new member of the Dandelion Bandits, dinner since he is taking up the night watch. Salem tells Tina that he'll help her look for her sister later when his injuries have healed.
When Leif's forces invade Dandelion mansion in Chapter 12x Pirn orders Tina to steal from the intruders with her Thief staff, though he has to threaten her with the bugs again before she complies. During the battle Safy, who has been traveling with Leif's forces, meets up with Tina in the mansion and scolds her for wandering away from Tahra. Regardless, Tina is very happy to see her sister.
Tina accompanies Leif's liberation army until at least the liberation of Munster. Her involvement, if any, with the war after Leif's forces merged with Seliph's is unknown, as she does not appear in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Tina is a very interesting unit.
By the time you recruit her, Safy and Nanna should have far surpassed her in almost every statistic. She comes recruited at level 1 with pitiful base stats, making her incredibly difficult to wield on the battlefield. In fact, with her base magic at 3 and lowly base skill of 1, Tina's heals will be very weak and are likely to miss. She will be an inferior healer in almost every aspect.
However, Tina's strength comes with her two unique staves: the Thief and Unlock staves. The Unlock staff allows Tina to unlock any door, chest, or bridge on the map and the Thief staff gives her the power to steal any item from any unit on the map, as long as Tina's magic stat is higher than that unit's. Because only Tina can wield these staves, she can have certain, chapter specific uses such as obtaining an incredibly difficult Vouge axe in chapter 16B or unlocking certain, normally unreachable, chests in chapter 18. Being able to steal items with Tina will essentially require the use of either an Magic Up staff or Pure Water, but doing so can be very helpful in distinct scenarios. Luckily, while the Thief staff does include the possibility of missing, Tina's high number of movement stars gives her a higher chance of getting a second turn and trying again.
Tina will not be a very good healer, but her unique staves allow her to have special, chapter specific purposes.
Personality and character
Tina is a restless and somewhat reckless girl; wandering away from Tahra in search of her elder sister Safy was quite dangerous, considering the Grannvale Empire's troops have been enclosing on the city due to rebellion. When she ends up abducted by Pirn she is easily convinced to do his bidding, which appears to mostly be stealing things. It is evident that she is afraid of bugs, as even just the threat of bugs from Pirn earns her cooperation.
Salem is sympathetic to Tina's situation, offering to take her to look for her older sister later. Tina appears to like Salem as well; she makes him dinner, presumably of her own volition, when Salem has the night watch.

Endings
Tina, Playful Cleric
Even after returning to Tahra, Tina never was able to sit still. Ever oblivious, she would often go wandering about unattended, worrying those around her, especially her sister. Did the day ever come where she would finally settle down? We’ll never know, since no such records exist.
