Threaten Attack/Defense (Japanese: 攻撃守備の威嚇 Attack/Defense Intimidation) is a three-tiered passive type C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Threat. Atk/Def 1, Threat. Atk/Def 2, and Threat. Atk/Def 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Threat. Atk/Def skill will inflict on enemies within two spaces of the user a penalty to their Attack and Defense until the end of their next action; the size of the Attack and Defense penalties increases with the skill's tier, with the third tier adding an additional effect of boosting its user's Attack and Defense by the same amount as the target's penalties for the duration of their turn should the traditional effect take effect.
