After the fall of Archanea, Rickard and Lena met in Pales, where they decided to raid the castle and steal its treasure for the poor of the nation. The two decided as well to split up to search for others to hire as protection for their heist; they met up again, Rickard having recruited Castor and Lena Navarre. As the heist was underway, the group was surprised to discover another collection of thieves in the castle, though Rickard was able to convince two of their mercenaries, Malice and Dice, to join in their more noble effort in exchange for money. The heist was generally successful until the arrival of Camus; Lena confronted Camus on Grust's role in the war, and he was ultimately convinced by Nyna to allow the group to go free, so long as they used their acquired wealth for the betterment of Archanea's people.

Strategy

In Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga, Navarre is fast enough to double every enemy at base with an Iron Sword except the reinforcement Thieves, for which he needs a single point of Speed, and Vaam, for which he needs two. He lacks the Strength to do significant damage to the Knights without an Armorslayer, but he can one-round them with one. Rickard avoids being doubled by faster enemies, but he fails to do significant damage to them. As the only Thief, and thus the only one capable of opening chests, he will spend most of his time moving to open chests, the most important of which likely being the one to the southwest, containing a Killing Edge. Lena carries a Heal and a Warp staff, allowing her to send other units across long distances; sending Navarre to fight Vaam and aquire the Armorslayer or Rickard to the Killing Edge chest early may be desirable. Castor gets doubled by the Thieves, but he can survive three rounds of combat with them without avoiding any hits. He can deal enough damage to the thieves to take them out in two shots or allow Rickard to finish them off; Castor requires a point of Speed to double the Knights, but will likely not do more than a point or so of damage to them. Malice serves a similar function to Navarre, with some extra defense and the ability to double every enemy at base, while Dice is capable of one-shotting the Knights with the Devil Axe, and has enough HP to survive multiple rounds of combat with every enemy type on the map.
The Vulneraries will likely only be useful to units too far from Lena to get healing, but they require Rickard to open the chest or an enemy to drop it, one or two may be useful towards the beginning if Navarre and/or Rickard is warped to the west of the map, but the Vulnerary in the northeast will only see use if more than two people are critically injured and in danger. Likewise, by the time that Mend could be safely obtained, the map will nearly be over, and it is unlikely that anyone will be in need of so much healing, though it doesn't hurt to have.
