The Warrior of Fiana: Difference between revisions
(→Enemy data: Converted to new templates, added unit stats. This game has so much variance to it that I don't think manual checks are gonna cut it for the rest of the game, but since Chapter 1's a quick affair, I figured I'd at least lay some sort of groundwork.) |

“ | Why is such a simple task taking you so long? There's little doubt that the heir to House Leonster is hiding here. You've been too gentle with these villagers—give them ample motivation to talk. | ” | — Raydrik |

The Warrior of Fiana/Script
With the Fiana Freeblades, Leif and Finn off on a mission elsewhere in the region, their home village of Fiana is assaulted by the forces of Munster under Raydrik and Weismann, from which Raydrik absconds with Nanna and Mareeta as hostages. The Freeblades return to find Fiana still occupied by Munster soldiers, and storm the village to drive them out. Upon reclaiming the city hall of Fiana, Leif finds that Nanna and Mareeta are gone, and resolves to set out with Finn and the Freeblades to storm Munster and rescue them from captivity.
Beginning log
Barely escaping the burning of Castle Leonster with his life, the young Prince Leif was looked after by Finn, his knight and retainer.
Together with Nanna, a young noblewoman under Finn's care, the trio fled pursuers sent by the conquerors of North Thracia: the Grannvale Empire, which lay to the west.
Yet Finn proved stronger than those who hunted them, and the three made their way to the cities of Ulster and Tahra, posing as common vagrants.
Eventually, they drifted into Fiana, a small village on Thracia's eastern coast. Fiana was an independent community with its own militia, the Fiana Freeblades, led by the swordswoman Eyvel.
Eyvel welcomed Leif's group as if they were her own kin. Under her watchful eye, the deposed prince spent his childhood in Fiana, growing into maturity alongside youths of common birth.
Now, in year 776 of the Grannvale calendar...

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |

From as early as the first chapter, you get access to Eyvel, a level 12 Swordmaster, and Dagdar, a level 6 Warrior. To refrain from using either of these units is a grave mistake, since enemies in Thracia 776 typically come in great quantities and it is very easy to get overwhelmed if a unit isn't strong enough. But first things first: Osian should head to the bottom village to obtain his personal weapon, the Vouge. Leif, Finn, and Eyvel should head into the village and clear out the enemy soldiers, and Halvan should head to the eastermost village to pick up the Brave Axe. If you would like to visit other houses with Finn or Dagdar, feel free. The boss is easy enough to ORKO with Eyvel and her Flame Sword.
You may consider capturing enemy units to obtain their items and possibly sell them for gold later, but it is important not to get too used to it or you may end up tiring yourself out. There are plenty of items in Thracia to go around: just get what you need.
