Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |
Using the warp staff to conveniently complete the map is recommended considering the high concentration of forest tiles. However, it is also important to note that this chapter has the only Vantage Manual in the entire game—which may work well on a unit such as Olwen—as well as a vendor that sells Wind tomes, the next such vendor appearing in Chapter 21.
To complete the map without the warp staff, keep in mind that a Bridge Key is recommended (one of the Brigands here has one), and the chapter must be completed within 20 turns to reach the following sidequest. The Brigands are capable of stealing items, but they are basic enemies with Iron Axes and pose little to no threat. Salem can be recruited by capturing him and not releasing him; though he is not required for the sidequest, his C-rank staves can be helpful.
Trivia
- This is the only non-sidequest chapter in Thracia 776 that includes fog of war.
