Introduction

At the request of King Mordred, Roy heads for the Saint's Tower outside Aquileia. The Saint's Tower was once a place of worship for Saint Elimine. In the tower lay numerous sacred relics relating to her. However, this sacred tower is now under the control of the revolutionaries. Bishop Windham now occupies the tower after betraying the St. Elimine Church...

Opening

(At the top of the Tower of the Saint)

Windham: Lord Roartz fled?! What of me?! I betrayed the church and took control of this tower on his order!
Soldier: Lord Roartz's message said he leaves us to fend for ourselves. Because we were unable to bend the church to his side, he has no more use for us.
Windham: This is all Yoder's fault. If he hadn't meddled in my affairs...
Soldier: I agree...but that's the least of our worries right now...
Windham: ...Very well... Then this is our last stand. If we are to die, then the Lycian Army shall fall along with us! Prepare the Heavenly Arrows!
Soldier: But sir, we'll be unable to avoid hitting our own men as well!
Windham: You know the consequences for dissent. You shall do as I say!

(The soldier leaves the conversation)

Windham: ...They'll regret crossing me... Heh heh heh...!

(At the bottom of the tower)

Douglas: This is the Saint's Tower. Saint Elimine's legendary weapon, the Aureola spell tome, lies within.
Roy: Thank you, Sir Douglas. I appreciate your help. Especially because we were fighting on opposite sides earlier...
Douglas: You need not thank me. I do as my king commands. There is nothing more to it.
Roy: ......
Douglas: That said, you saved Etruria. I am honored to fight alongside you.
Roy: Sir Douglas...

In battle

Battle quotes

Windham enters combat

Windham: Perish! Every last one of you! Everything to ash!

Windham dies

Windham: Hahaha! Haha...ha...

Ending

If Douglas is alive

(At the top of the Tower of the Saint)

Soldier: Lord Roy, I think we've found the tome.
Roy: Sir Douglas, is this it...?
Douglas: Yes, it is. This is the Glorious Ascension, Aureola, Saint Elimine's weapon.
Roy: May we make use of it?
Douglas: The king said to take anything in the tower that may be of use. The St. Elimine Church backs us as well. If any oppose our use of it, then I will negotiate.
Roy: Thank you, Sir Douglas.

(Inside Castle Aquileia)

Roy: Princess Guinivere, I must speak with you.
Guinivere: ...The attack on Bern will begin after we finish in Etruria.
Roy: Did someone tell you already?
Guinivere: No... I simply knew that it would come to this eventually.
Roy: ...We cannot leave Bern unopposed any longer. I know it will be painful to see your homeland invaded, but...
Guinivere: ...Roy, I want you to have this.
Roy: What is it?
Guinivere: Bern's greatest treasure... the Fire Emblem.
Roy: What?!
Guinivere: In southern Bern lies a temple called the Shrine of Seals. Within it lies the sword of Hartmut, founder of Bern.
Roy: Is it... a legendary weapon?
Guinivere: Yes. The most powerful of them all, in fact. It was made to slay the leader of the dragons in the Scouring. Its power was so immense that it had to be sealed away after the war. The Fire Emblem is the key to accessing it once more.
Roy: The key...
Guinivere: My brother...is forcing the world into submission with military might. I cannot forgive him, no matter his reasons.
Roy: ......
Guinivere: All we must do to stop him is defeat the dragons he commands.
Roy: Princess Guinivere...
Guinivere: ...I will be remembered in infamy, as a traitor to my nation.
Roy: No...
Guinivere: The people will resent me for the rest of my days. Roy, promise me this one thing. When we invade Bern, do not harm any civilians...
Roy: I will not. I promise you.
Guinivere: ...Thank you.

(Aureola received)

If Douglas was killed during the chapter

(At the top of the Tower of the Saint)

Soldier: Lord Roy, I think we've found the tome.
Roy: ...This must be Aureola, the Glorious Ascension. Merlinus.

(Merlinus appears)

Roy: I want you to give this back to the St. Elimine Church.
Merlinus: Why? The king said we could take anything we found in the tower.
Roy: This is a holy relic of their order. It would be sacrilegious to use it without their permission.
Merlinus: I understand...

(Inside Castle Aquileia)

Guinivere: ...Thank you.

Yoder: Lord Roy.
Roy: Father Yoder? What is wrong?
Yoder: I understand you found the Aureola tome...
Roy: Ah, yes. I will return it to the church immediately.
Yoder: There is no need. We want you to take it.
Roy: ...Are you certain?
Yoder: What Saint Elimine wished for was peace. Use it well and bring an end to this war.
Roy: If you insist.
